Embark on a discovery of the racial segregation experienced by
millions of South Africans a mere decade ago. On entering the
building you are racially classified and you see this segregation in
all forms of life. There are excellent displays depicting the Soweto
up rising, ANC in exile, petty apartheid, solitary confinement,

for South Western Township is home to over 2 million people who,
despite living in crowded and chaotic conditions, have a tangible
sense of community, which the ordered walled northern suburbs lack.
Visit the Hector Peterson Museum, where you learn about the cause of
the riots. Pass the Mandela House, with the option to visit the
small museum (for your own account), and visit the Regina Mondi

A Typical Day On Safari in South Africa
As
the early morning sun rises over the horizon head out into the
African bushveld. Sense the excitement…who knows what to expect? A
herd of ever-cautious impala huddled together, a herd of elephant
feeding in the lush vegetation or a pride of lion in the shade of an
acacia. Upon return to camp enjoy a sizeable brunch. Free time is
then ample during the heat of the day to enjoy a siesta or dip in
the pool. Enjoy tea, cakes and savories before departing on an
afternoon activity, with a stop for cocktails en route. Return to
camp and savor a sumptuous dinner. |
