Day 1 Fly USA
to Cairo (Via Europe)
Day 2 Arrive Cairo
Modern Cairo is an architectural fusion of old and new, where
skyscrapers and ancient monuments stand side by side. You will be
met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 3 Memphis, Sakkara, Pyramid and Sphinx

Begin with Memphis, ancient capital of Egypt in Pharaonic times, and
the chosen city of the God Ptah. Proceed to Sakkara to see the
famous Step Pyramid of Zoser, the first tall building known to
mankind. After Lunch continue to Giza to see the Pyramids of Cheops,
Chephren, and Mykerinos. Then, visit the Sphinx, the largest single
block sculpture of all time – carved from one solid piece of
limestone.
Day 4 Egyptian Museum, Citadel and Mosques

The Egyptian museum is the most important depository of Egyptian
antiquities anywhere in the world. It features artifacts including
the mummies of ancient Egypt’s king and Tutankhamun treasures.
Situated on a spur of the Muqattam Hills, the citadel dominates
Cairo’s skyline and was the nerve center of the city and Egypt for
almost 700 years. Within the citadel is the Alabaster Mosque built
by Mohammed Ali of Sultan Hassan and the Mosque of Al-Refai, which
are among the most majestic monuments of Arab architecture in Egypt.
Visit Khan El Khalili, a famous Cairo bazaar dating back to the late
14th century.
Day 5 Old Cairo and Churches full day tour
Coptic Cairo is on the site of a Roman-Byzantine fortress town.
Descend the short stairway into the quarter and explore the quaint,
modest alleyways and small homes. Walk the cobblestone streets and
stop at Hanging Church, dating to the late 4th and early 5th
Century, this basilica was built on top of the south gate of the
Fortress of Babylon. Continue to Church of St. Sergius, built on the
cave in which the Holy Family stayed, it is regarded by visitors as
a source of blessing. Visit the Coptic Museum; its collection
includes religious and secular art, stonework, manuscripts,
woodwork, metalwork, paintings and pottery.
Day 6 Cairo to Alexandria
The drive is about 2.5 hours. On arrival, visit the National Museum
and gain insight into the grandeur of Alexandria in its Greek and
Roman days. See the Roman Amphitheater and tour the Catacombs of
Kom-El-Shouqafa. Visit Pompey’s Pillar; a column 98 feet high and 7
feet thick, made of Aswan rose granite.

Day 7 Alexandria to Luxor (Via Cairo)
Explore Montazah Palace, built on a low plateau overlooking a
beautiful beach. See the Fort of Qaitbay whose design is influenced
by medieval architecture. Travel back to Cairo and transfer to the
airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival, transfer to your
cruise ship. Enjoy lunch on board. Visit East Bank to see the Karnak
and Luxor Temples.

Day 8 Luxor / Edfu / Esna
Breakfast on board then visit the West Bank – The Valley of the
Kings & Queens, The
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari & the Colossi of
Memnon.
Sail to Edfu at 12:00 pm and enjoy lunch on board and then spend the
afternoon at leisure. Enjoy afternoon tea and dinner on board.
Overnight in Esna
Day 9 Edfu / Kom Ombo
Enjoy breakfast on board. Visit the temple of falcon-headed God,
Horus – one of the finest examples of Ptolemaic art in Egypt. Sail
to Esna and cross the lock. Sail to Luxor and enjoy lunch, afternoon
tea and dinner on board.
Day 10 Kom Ombo / Aswan
Breakfast on board and then visit the Temple shared by two gods
Sobek & Haeroris in Kom Ombo. Sail to Aswan with lunch lunch on
board. Visit the High Dam, the Temple of Philae & unfinished
Obelisk. Sail on the Nile by Felucca around Kitchener’s island
Afternoon tea and then dinner on board. Overnight in Aswan
Day 11 Fly Aswan to Sharm el Sheikh
Disembark after breakfast on board and transfer to the airport for
your flight to Sharm El Sheikh. On arrival you will be met and
transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Days 12 to 14 At leisure, Sharm el Sheikh
At leisure in the most spectacular deep sea diving and water sports
paradise in the world. The crystal-clear blue tropical waters
sustain an overwhelming variety of marine flora and fauna, with more
than 1,000 species of fish feeding among magnificent coral. Fill
your days with water skiing, sailing, surfing, tennis, fishing and
snorkeling.
Day 15 Fly Sharm el Sheikh to Cairo
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest
of the day is at leisure.
Day 16 Fly Cairo to USA (Via Europe)
Transfer to the airport for your departure flights.
