Day 1 & 2 Fly
USA to Johannesburg (via Europe)
Day 3 Johannesburg
Touch down at OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) where
you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend
the rest of the day at leisure in this fast-paced city, South
Africa's financial heart.

This hotel, casino and convention resort combines timeless classical
elegance and contemporary facilities and is conveniently situated
alongside Johannesburg International Airport. This hotel offers
cozy, comfortable and affordable accommodation and delightful
service. All Metcourt guests enjoy breakfast at the charming
Primavera Restaurant and access to all Emperors Palace’s magnificent
variety of facilities.
Entrance to the Metcourt Laurel reception is through a marble paved
foyer and up a double-winged staircase whose brass balustrade is
ornamented with glass panels, while large gold-framed graphics of
Roman urns decorate the walls.
Day 4 Mpumalanga / Kruger National Park
After an early breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel and
whisked off to the world famous Kruger National Park via Hazyview,
where your safari begins as you board an open safari vehicle. Game
sightings abound virtually from the moment you enter this
extraordinary reserve. Enjoy your first night in this unique patch
of African wilderness.

Standard: Pretoriuskop (or similar)
Pretoriuskop is situated in the southwestern part of the Kruger
National Park, only 5 miles from Numbi Gate. The camp lies in a
hilly region with many interesting, picturesque rocky outcrops. Rare
species like sable and rhino may be sighted in this area as well as
the more prolific species such as impala, zebra and wildebeest. A
wide variety of basic accommodation is available at Pretoriuskop,
including huts, cottages, bungalows and a guest house.
Other facilities at the rest camp are a shop, barbecue, communal
kitchen facilities, swimming pool, in-camp trail, laundromat,
restaurant/cafeteria, public telephones and a petrol station.
Several historic places, such as the Voortrekker road, the
birthplace of Jock of the Bushveld and the Albasini ruins are within
a short drive from the camp. The first tourist hut in the park, the
Wolhuter, is found in this camp.
Day 5 Kruger National Park
With an entire day in Kruger ahead, we adapt your behavior to that
of the animals: set off on a dawn safari, retire at the camp for a
soothing midday siesta, and then enjoy a late afternoon game drive.
Day 6 Kruger to Johannesburg
There's time to savour another sunrise safari then tuck into a
hearty breakfast before returning to camp around mid morning. We
leave the reserve and travel back to Johannesburg, arriving at about
19h00.

Day 7 Fly Johannesburg to Cape Town
It's off to Cape Town this morning (onward flight not included). On
arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at
leisure exploring the joys of the 'Mother City'. A perfect
opportunity to visit the V&A Waterfront.

Situated on Cape Town's spectacular Platinum Mile, the hotel
overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and boasts impeccable service and a
variety of facilities. There are 349 well-appointed rooms and suites
on the Bantry Bay beach front. All rooms and suites contain a remote
control television, hairdryer, telephone, central air conditioning,
in room safe and electronic locking devices on all doors. The
hotel's a la carte restaurant offers a sophisticated and light
Mediterranean ambience. At the end of the day, relax over sundowners
on the popular terrace. The hotel also offers a large swimming pool,
hairdressing salon, gymnasium, and jewelry shop. Breakfast is
included.
Day 8 Cape of Good Hope Tour
Enjoy a full day's sightseeing in one of the world's hottest tourist
destination. Much of our journey is along the achingly beautiful
coastline, with majestic views of mountain and ocean. We visit Cape
Point, one of the best spots in Cape Town for viewing whales and
dolphins. On our return to the city we drive through the quaint
naval village of Simon's Town.
Day 9 Cape Winelands Tour
Journey into the beautiful and tranquil Cape Winelands, visiting
both Paarl and Stellenbosch before stopping for wine tasting at two
well known estates. A visit to the Huguenot Memorial Museum and the
Afrikaans Language Monument provides a historical perspective.
Day 10 Fly Cape Town to USA (Via
Johannesburg)
This brings us to the end of our 'World in One Country' Tour. Check
out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
